FORD FAMILY REUNION

Every year since I was born we have attended our FORD FAMILY REUNION! It is an event that we look forward to every summer! My Grandfather's brothers and sisters and all of there families attend....needless to say it consists of about 250 people! We really dont talk to everyone or even know everyone all that well but we still have a great time with our own little Joe Ford family members! It is a tradition that is quite unique and maybe some think it is crazy but it is a large family that loves each other and wants to remain close and keep the family alive!! I bet my great Grandpa William is looking down on it and is amazed at how many of us are proud of our heritage and love to be together! We miss very much Grandpa Joe and Grandma Elvira it is not the same but we continue to plan every 3rd week in July is FORD REUNION TIME! We go to different spots in the Mountains that Great Grandpa would run his sheep and camp throughout the weekend. My favorite place to camp in the whole world is Wolf Creek......that is where it was this year. Every time we start to head up that canyon the memories start flowing of growing up spending many a Deer Hunt and camping trips with my family. THANK YOU MOM and DAD for making those memories for us!!!!!! Dad has taught us all to Love the Mountains especially that place!!!! I hope that my kids have those same feelings throughout there lives! I especially LOVE camping with my own brothers and sisters and Mom and Dad, kids, and my wonderful Husband!! He is the Man you want around in the mountains!!!! He can do anything, cut wood, pitch a tent, set up a trailer, and drive you all in the truck to roll rocks!!!! Fun was definetly had by all!!!!!! Just a little FYI.....Wedding pictures should be done next week, I will put them on as soon as we get them!
